Necula, Gina: born1976. Since 1999 working at the Lower Danube University of Galati, Rumania. BA in Romanian language and literature / English language and literature (1998). PhD in Philology (2006, Diss.: The concept of ‘Newspeak’ as Reflected in Literary Discourse). Member of the Linguistics Department in the Faculty of Letters and Theology, working there. Areas of interest: sociolinguistics and text linguistics, lexical studies. Many papers presented at various national and international conferences and articles published with focus on aspects belonging or connected to these two areas.
