Doctoral Programm at the University of Vienna in law and in political science, Ph.D. in Law 1995. 1994 -1995: HCM-Fellow at the European Public Policy Institute of the University of Warwick, England. 1995 HCM-Fellow at the Department of Government of the University of Essex, England. 1995 - 1996: Research Institute for European Affairs, Vienna, Austria. 1996 - 2005: senior research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Technology Assessment. 1998 - 1999: Guest scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies, Germany. 2004 Habilitation in science and technology studies at the University of Vienna. Since 2006 director of the Institute of Technology Assessment (Austrian Academy of Sciences).
