Opreanu, Lucia

Opreanu, Lucia, Junior Assistant at Ovidius University Constanta, Romania, where she teaches British literature seminars and practical courses. She got her B.A. in English and Italian and her M.A. in Cultural Studies at Ovidius University, and is currently a PhD student at A.I. Cuza University Iasi. Her research interests include British Romanticism and contemporary British fiction and her main published articles are: “Byronism and the (R)evolution of Taste”, “Don Juan – The Trail of Balkan Identities”, “Wide Sargasso Sea – The Self behind the Mask of Brontë’s Mrs. Rochester”, “Locating Identity in the Postcolonial, Postcommunist World”, “The Meeting Place of Past and Present: A.S. Byatt’s Possession. A Romance” and “Literary Journeys in David Lodge’s Small World”.
