Agwuele, Augustine is assistant professor of Linguistics in the Department of Anthropology at Texas State University-San Marcos. He obtained his doctorate degree in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin . His research interests are in the areas of acoustic phonetics, specifically, coarticulation, the interaction of language with society, and in the peoples and cultures of (West) Africa .
