Baruch, Noam

Baruch, Noam: practicing translation from French into Hebrew, specialized in translation of philosophical and psychoanalytical modern & contemporary writings (Foucault, Kristeva, Lacan, etc.). Has been working on the translation into Hebrew of the Vocabulaire de la Psychoanalyse by J. Laplanche & J. B. Pontalis. The translation process has become the subject of his M.A research, written under the direction of Prof. Hava bat-Zeev Shyldkrot (French department, Tel-Aviv University) and Prof. Gideon Toury ( Unit of Culture Research , Tel-Aviv University).
