Boyadhieva, Ellie: born 1956 in Sofia (Bulgaria). He obtained a PhD in Linguistics in May 1990. He is presently Associate Professor in Linguistics and English in the Department of Foreign Languages, Philological Faculty, at the Southwestern University of Blagoevgrad. He teaches courses in General Linguistics, Modern Linguistic Theories, Morphosyntax of Modern English, Contrastive Analysis, and British and American Studies. Besides teaching and research, he is a member of several scholarly societies and current President of the Bulgarian English Teachers Association (BETA).
