Chinyowa, Kennedy C.: Senior lecturer in African Drama and Literature at the University of Zimbabwe. 2001 – 2004: lecturer in Drama Education at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. Recently completed his PhD research on Theatre for Development at Griffith University. The thesis focuses on the discursive role of the aesthetics in African Popular Theatre. Apart from presenting several papers and workshops at local and international conferences, he has published widely in refereed journals like Studies in Theatre and Performance (U.K), Drama Research (U.K.), Nadie Journal (Australia), Literary Criterion (India) and Alternation (South Africa).
