Ersoy, Yesim

Ersoy, Yesim, received her BA from Bogazici University in English Language and Literature, her MA and PhD from Ege University in American Literature. She is an assistant professor of American Culture and Literature at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey where she teaches Nineteenth and Twentieth Century American Fiction, Urban Literature, Modernism and Postmodernism in literature.

Her present research interests are women’s writing, Gothic novel and short fiction, and nature writing. She has published articles on gender issues, urban writing, American moral fiction, American picaresque, and Norwegian immigrant literature in America.
