Finex, Ndhlovu: PhD research student with Monash International University, Australia. He is researching nationalism, hegemony, language politics and language marginalization in postcolonial Zimbabwe. Published some articles on language politics and indigenous knowledge systems in the South African Journal of Higher Education, Indilinga Journal of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and the Midlands State University Dyke Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. Since 2000 has been lecturing in the Department of African Languages and Culture, Midlands State University. Full member of academic organizations that include the Organization of Social Science Research in East and Southern Africa (OSSREA), Business language Services International (BLIS), Applied Linguistics Association of Australia (ALAA) as well as the Midlands State University African Languages and Culture Society.
