Degrees: 1978 M.A. in linguistics from the University of Silesia, Sosnowiec; 1993 Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Silesia; 2005 habilitation in linguistics from the University of Silesia. Research interests: second language acquisition/multilingualism (mental lexicon), psycholinguistics, introspective methods of research, teacher training (EFL).
