Guigues, Emmanuelle: Studies Viola da Gamba at the Conservatoire National de Région of Lyon (France), then at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Jordi Savall and Paolo Pandolfo. Holder of the Solist Diploma in 1996, she improves her art two years more with Christophe Coin in the frame of the Professional. She plays and records with several ensembles notably: “Ricercar Consort”, “la Simphonie du Marais”, “le Poème Harmonique”, “Les Paladins”, “Doulce Mémoire”, “Fuoco e Cenere”. She is interested in playing contemporary music (creations of George Benjamin, Claire Renard). She often collaborates with theatre: especially the Comédie Française (“le Malade Imaginaire” of Molière) but also the Theatre of Bobigny. She composed for cinema (music for a Short Film of Benoit Keller, FEMIS) and was musical director of a franco-iranian documentary for Arte. She plays regularly with different dance companies such as: Piollet-Guizerix, Talon-pointe, Ana Yepes, le Miroir des songes. She studies actually Kamanshah with Gaguik Mouradian. She teaches Viola da Gamba near Lyon, at the Ecole Nationale de Musique of Villeurbanne, and also in the Summer Academy of Ancient Music of Lisieux (France).
