Idalovichi, Israel got his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Heidelberg and taught at several universities in Israel and South Africa, and at present is a Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy and Achva College of Education, Israel. He also worked as a Principal at several institutes and colleges in Israel and South Africa. His numerous publications (books and articles) include Die Dialektik des Utraquismus , Verlag Peter Lang 1991; Eidostectonic: The Architectonic of the Conceptual-Ideographic Organon, with A. Friedman, Maxwell-Macmillan-Ketter 1991; Life and Teleology: Kant’s Critical-Teleological Philosophy and Contemporary Biology, inJournal for General Philosophy of Science, 1992; A Critical-Metaphysical Exposition of Kant’s and Frege’s Concepts of Space, in South African Journal of Philosophy 1994; Generating Social Identity in Times of War and Terror , in Social Identities- Journal for the Study of Race, Nation and Culture , 2004, vol. 10, (5), The Debate over the Historical-Political Background of a Civic Multicultural Society, in Journal for the Study of Religions and Ideologies , 2004 etc. He organized and chaired a number of congresses, conferences and colloquia in education and philosophy.
