Kohnert, Dirk, Dr: Economist. Deputy Director at the Institute of African Affairs (IAK), Hamburg/Germany, and managing editor of the academic journal “africa spectrum” since 1991. Before, he was lecturer in development planning and senior development expert in several African countries. He published numerous books and articles in learned journals on economic, social and cultural development, planning and evaluation.
