Law, Chi-Kwong – TRANS

Law, Chi-Kwong, Prof.Dr., is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong (1976 B.Soc.Sc, 1981 M.S.W.), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (1986 M.B.A.), and the University of California, Los Angeles (1988 D.S.W.). He is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, University of Hong Kong. His current researches are: urban renewal, digital inclusion, management in human services, social enterprise, welfare reform, employment assistance programmes, and community building and planning. He served as chairperson/treasurer/member of the executive/management committees of several welfare agencies; and was elected member of Legislative Council of Hong Kong, in 1995-97 and 1998-2004. He is currently a member of the Country and Marine Parks Board, Commission on Strategic Development, Lands and Development Advisory Committee, and Child Development Fund of the HKSAR government.
