Nabil, Abdel Fattah, Dr.: born 1959 in Qena, Egypt. Graduated from Qena Faculty of Arts, South Valley University, English Department in 1982. Appointed as a demonstrator at Aswan Faculty of Education from 1986 to 1990. Appointed as a demonstrator at Qena Faculty of Arts from 1990 to 1993. Granted MA in English Literature, in the English Novel in 1993. Appointed as an assistant- Lecturer in 1993 at Qena faculties of Arts. From 1993 to March 1995 he practiced teaching in some specific fields like teaching Novel, Translations and English Language for non-specialists. In April 1995 he left for the U.S.A. to prepare his PhD. His academic Visit lasted two years from April1995 to April 1997. There he worked under the supervision of Prof. Ronald Shafer, Indiana university-P A. In January 1998 he was granted PhD in the American Novel. 1998 – till now appointed as a lecturer at Qena Faculty of Arts, South Valley University. Attended an 60 hour ESP Orientation Course at the ESP Center of Alexandria University from August 21st to September 9th, 1993. Participated in the Bulletin of Qena Faculty of Arts from 2003 to 2005. Attended a training course “Selected Topics in teaching” from 14-5-2005 to 17-5-2005. Participated in supervising some MA theses and PhD dissertations.
