Since 1975: professor at Department of English Studies, Jagiellonian University and since 1998 professor at Centre for Foreign Teacher Training and European Education of Warsaw University, Warsaw.
1990 – 1997: Head of Jagiellonian University Foreign Language Teacher Training College. 1980-1981 and since 2002: Head of Methods of Teaching English Section of the Department of English Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Since 2004: Vice-President of the Polish Neophilological Society.
