Raney, Vanessa is a graduate student in English at Southern Connecticut State University. Most recently she published in The 49th Parallel E-Journal and ImageText: Interdisciplinary Journal for Comics Studies. She has also contributed a chapter to a book collection on graphic novels that will be published by the NCTE press, and will be contributing another chapter for a related collection to be published by a Greek press.
