Rectanus, Mark

Rectanus, Mark is Professor of German at Iowa State University, where he teaches “German Film and Media Studies”, “Technology, Globalization, and Culture”, and courses on contemporary culture. He is the author of several books and numerous articles on the literary marketplace, publishing, and media. Prof. Rectanus also conducts research on museums, corporate sponsorships, and event culture in Europe and the USA.

His most recent book is Culture Incorporated: Museums, Artists, and Corporate Sponsorships (Univ. Minnesota Press, 2002).
