Sciacovelli, Antonio Donato, born in Matera in 1968, PhD in Romance Philology at University of Budapest «Eötvös Loránd» (2005), degree in East-European Philology and History at Istituto Universitario Orientale di Napoli (1992). His research interests focus on the tradition of medieval Italian narrative, with a special attention to the narrative structures of Boccaccio’s Decameron. Since 1993–1994 he works at «Berzsenyi Dániel» College in Szombathely, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses about the Italian literature of Middle Age, theory and practice of literary translation (Hungarian-Italian), history of Italian civilization.
