So, Francis K. H. is Professor of English, National Sun Yat-sen University. He received his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Washington, Seattle, with focuses on medieval English literature and classical Chinese literature. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, UCLA and has done research on the Renaissance at the Warburg Institute, University of London.
His recent publications include Compendium of Historico-Geographical Terms of Turkestan (Western Territories) (2002), Literature, Religion, Gender and Ethnicity: England, Middle East and China in the Middle Ages (2005), European Expedition: Medieval Romance Reader (2005), and co-edited A Guide to Major Texts in English Literature (2007 ).
