Stanca, Nicoleta – TRANS

Stanca, Nicoleta, assistant-professor at Ovidius University Constanta, Romania, the English department. She has an MA in Cultural Studies at Ovidius University and is currently doing a Ph.D. program at Al. I. Cuza University, Iasi and working on her thesis entitled Duality of Vision in Seamus Heaney’s Poetry. Her interests range from nineteenth-century Victorian culture to twentieth-century English literature and popular culture. She has published a number of articles in volumes and journals in Romania and has participated in national and international conferences. Her articles are focused mainly on Irish literature and culture.
