Tertemiz, Neşe (Isik), Assist. Prof. Dr. Born in 1960. She got her pre-BA from Ankara Institute of Education, Department of Primary Education in 1979, her BA from Hacettepe University, Department of Educational Science in 1983, her MA in Curriculum Development and Instruction from Hacettepe University in 1986, and got her PhD in Primary School Curriculum and Instruction from Hacettepe University in 1994. In her professional life she worked 5 years as primary school teacher, 10 years as vice-principal in TED Ankara Private School and 2 years as a curriculum expert, and since 1995 she has been working as an Assist. Prof. Dr. at Gazi University in the Department of Primary Education, Faculty of Education. She had participated in Basic Education Pilot Project: Permanent Teacher Training (1997) in collaboration with UNICEF – World Bank – Ministry of Education, Primary School Supervisors Active Learning and Teaching Strategies (2000), Program 2 Project 2.1. Children Friendly Learning Environments (22–25 February 2000) and 2001–2005 T.R. Government and UNICEF National Curriculum Preparation Meeting. She has lots of articles, proceedings and chapters in books about primary education curriculum and instruction.
