ABSTRACT:
The illegal labour migration and its consequences have become one of the immense problems for social stability of some countries. People of various social strata irrespective of their sex, age and education are involved into this latent process, becoming the victims of the illicit migration.
In her case-study the author examines precedents of exporting cheap labour force from Uzbekistan to neighbouring Kazakhstan. As it was revealed, many of these Uzbek citizens draw a miserable life and their human dignity is under-estimated and ignored. Under diverse pretexts there are recruited by mediators engaged in cheap labour trade.
All the case-studies have been realized on the experience base of the NGO called "The Perspective Generation". This NGO is located in Jizzakh region and its activities are focused on legal and illegal labour migration from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan. The NGO informs the population of risks and challenges of illegal traffic of labour resources, and smoothes post-trauma consequences for the victims.
