Economic Consequences of Globalization: migration from Turkey and to Turkey

ABSTRACT:

The aim of this study: to analyze migration flow to other countries from Turkey and to Turkey, to find out the economic reasons of it. Surplus of young population and continuous unemployment problems in the country has been encouraging the migration tendency. As result of this, legal and illegal migration to other countries is still lasting. For this reason, especially, the migration in Turkey will be shown through statistical data according to the years. And, the reasons for socio-economic conditions which cause the migration. The economic and social renovation in the source country (Turkey) and its impact on the host countries will be analyzed.
