Intercultural communication in a multicultural environment

ABSTRACT:

Within the international companies present in Hungary communication within and among the companies, the languages of which are primarily German, English and Hungarian, is more and more in focus.

The paper sets out to present and analyse the findings of a research into how and to what extent the multilingual environment and the cultural differences influence efficiency. Beyond the verbal level attention is paid to the effect of national stereotypes and prejudices as well.
