ABSTRACT:

In the discourse of semiotics, the domain of pragmatics is gaining increasedattention especially in cartography, where map use processes rather than just the production processes gain focus. Actor-specific and action-adequate information requires the explicit modelling of context separate from fact spaces. In this conntribution, also current structural deficits in the complexity of generalization transforms that include the pragmatics domain are elaborated.
