ABSTRACT:
I will not speak about historical evolution of Social Policies in European countries from the fiftees. I remain philophically tied to the formula of “Social market economy”, although many changes have occurred. My point of views is based on the evolution of facts in order to answer the question: have we advanced in Social progress of man kind or have we regressed? The question is simple, but answers are not. Social demands are always changing as the responses too, but we cannot make a rough estimate of gap between expectation and satisfaction. I believe that any progress in social conditions of people is interdependent from economic progress. This means a process of continuous interaction in continuous changing process.
