El Korso, Kamal: born 1941 in Tlemcen (Algeria); teacher at the University of Oran Es-Sénia since 1970. He is University Professor and Head of the research laboratory « Laboratoire de Recherche Ouvrages du Supérieur » (Laros) since 2000. Since 1998 he is Editor of the international journal «Imago : Interculturalité et Didactique» (10 issues). 1999-2007 Member of the Faculty Scientific Committee. 2000-2005 Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Department of Anglo–Saxon Languages. 2000-2007 Chairman of the Human and Social Sciences Post-Graduation Committee, Western Universities Regional Conference (CRUO) and . since 2005 Chairman of the committee of “Education, Culture and Communication” of the Permanent Sectoral Committee, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research,.

Scientific and pedagogical work:

Participation in several national and international Conferences and Seminars with papers (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ghana, China, India, Lithuania, Turkey, France).
Organization of 10 international conferences and 5 national seminars.

Chairman of the « Society of Algerian Germanists and Teachers of German», approved by the Ministry of the Interior on October 3, 2000.

El Korso, Kamal , Prof. Dr., geboren 1941 in Tlemcen/ Algerien. Nach der Grundschulzeit wechselt er auf das „Collège de Slane Gymnasium“ und besuchte anschließend bis zum Abitur das „Dr. Benzerdjeb Gymnasium“ in Tlemcen. Nach einer zweijährigen Tätigkeit als Lehrer in einer Volksschule in Tlemcen Besuch der Universität Algier im Fach Germanistik mit dem Abschluss 1965 Licence d’Allemand. 1965–1970: Studium an der LMU-München: Germanistik und Zeitungswissenschaft: Abschluss Magister Artium. 1970: Deutschlehrer an der Universität Oran in Algerien. 1978: Promotion: Doctorat 3ème Cycle Fach Landeskunde und ihre Didaktik: Paris. 1994: Habilitation: Doctorat d’Etat im Fach Landeskunde und ihre Didaktik. 1970–2008 Tätig an der Universität Oran als Leiter von Fremdsprachenabteilungen und seit 1998 als Leiter der Post-Graduiertenausbildung.

Er hat eine Reihe von Publikationen in Zeitschriften der Universität Oran, Algerien, bei OPU (Office des Publications Universitaires) Alger und in anderen algerischen und deutschen Zeitschriften vor allem zum Fremdsprachenunterricht und DaF, veröffentlicht.

Er ist Mitglied in verschiedenen wissenschaftliche Verbänden, wie FaDaF, GIG, IVG, VDS (Verein Deutsche Sprache) und Vorsitzender des AGDV(Algerischer Germanisten- und Deutschlehrerverband). Seit 1998 ist er Herausgeber der Zeitschrift „Imago, Interculturalité et didactique“. Von 1999–2002: Leiter der Goethe Schule in Oran.
