ABSTRACT:
Apprehension of the dual process of transition from potentiality to actuality and from actuality to (its most probable) potentiality lies in the basis of the Imperium analysis. However the reality for Imperium is that which brings the essence of "man" and his nature (identity) together; it is what enables and compels him, as a thinking human being, to strive and to have purpose to attain. However the greatest amount of the Imperium consists of the plurality and varieties of essences.
The philosophical transformation of Empire state into the civility of Imperium is viewed in sight of cultural and economic changes in postmodern society, considering the real diversity of ruling and other sorts of intensities that represent a radically pluralistic society. The civility of Imperium is best of all demonstrated through the actual (civic vs. corrupt) morality and the question of tolerance based on the civic cultures of Others, Strangers, and Enemies.
The culture of the Other represents the logic of tolerated co-existence, the harmony of goals, thoughts, and men’s actions. In contrast to the Other, we become familiar with the culture of Stranger and of the Enemy. While the Enemy is rather abominated, relinquished, and can even be fully eradicated, the Stranger, on the basis of common interest, is tolerated, endured, and accepted.
The Imperium - is a real destiny of the modern world, and possibly, a utopia. Thus, it can be expediently defined as the realistic utopia, or prac-topia, where all would depend on initiative, determination, and persuasion of people, namely of their resolve to act.
