The aim of the Documentation Center for more than 35 years was to collect
and preserve documents on Austrian literature. With the introduction of
the internet we added a new dimension to our policy of promoting Austrian
literature by creating a literature-pool on our specific website literaturhaus.at.
Here you find a wide range of book reviews (more than 200 per year),
informations on authors, as well as on the highlights of literary events
in our house as well as at other places - a literary chronicle online.
Our homepage provides a wide scope to the work of scholars on Austrian
literature as well as data bases on our most important collections. Since
a few months, even our quarterly magazine "Zirkular" has become Zirkular
online.
Papers held at the conference "Knowledge Networking in Cultural
Studies" are published in
TRANS.
